Hicimos esta foto en el zoo, donde algunos lemures viven. Estos mamíferos proceden de la isla de Madagascar. Son muy simpáticos y les encanta jugar.
We took this photo at the zoo, where some lemurs live. These mammals come originally from the island of Madagascar. They are really sweet and like playing with each other.
Dieses Foto haben wir im Zoo gemacht. Dort wohnen einige Kattas. Ürsprunglich kommen diese Säugetiere aus Madagaskar. Sie sind super schön und spielen gerne miteinander.

Maras - Maras - Pampashasen oder Maras
We saw these maras at Jerez´ zoo last week. This animal comes from South America and is often found in zoos all around the world. They are relatives of ginea pigs, can weigh over 11 kg in adulthood and mate for life.

Mariposa Nomeolvides / Butterfly Forget-me-not

Ayer en la playa de El Palmar Raquel encontró una mariposa muy extraña. Tenía motas negras y rojas. Sólo pudimos hacer fotos con el móvil y no han salido muy bien.
Luego al volver a casa miramos en Internet, y creemos que la mariposa que vimos es la Utetheisa pulchella, conocida como Nomeolvides.
Aunque es una mariposa nocturna (parece una polilla), ha cambiado sus hábitos y vuela a plena luz del día. Sus puntos rojos avisan a otras especies de que comérsela puede resultar venenoso.
Como había mucho viento en la playa, no podía volar y tuvimos que levantarla con la pala.

Yesterday Raquel found a strange butterfly at El Palmar's beach. It had black and red dots. We made these photos with our mobile.
At home we found out on the Internet that the moth we saw is called Utetheisa Pulchella, also known as Forget-me-not. See further info here
As it was very windy, it could not fly and we had to pick it up with a spade.
